Come dressed up in your western wear to experience the Ya Ha Tinda - The Ranch and Our West Country exhibits as we explore the western theme for Family Day.

Round up your family in Western Wear and join us at the MAG for a fun family day of cattle culture and crafts. Create some cowpoke props for your family portrait in front of the open range with 'On Your Mark' photobomb selfie station. Folk and country music will create the western style ambiance. Stamp and brand onto our public mural, make a hobby horse and race it outdoors and learn how to make rope using a rope maker.
Free to attend and all ages are welcome. Visitors age 12+ are required to provide proof of vaccination, documentation of a medical exemption, or proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service in accordance with the Alberta Government’s Restriction Exemption Program.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO NOTE: For attendees to this event we wish to inform you that we will have a Videographer onsite and MAG staff taking photos of this event, and these images/video will be used to document the event, as well as for social media use and marketing purposes.
