We've had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone the Ski Social again this year. The forecast for Sunday is cold and this will not be fun for anyone. We're going to reschedule it for March 31 from noon till two. Hopefully the weather will be warmer and we'll still have some snow to play on!
Back, for it's 4th year, is the Lacombe Cross-Country Ski Club Ski Social event on February 24 from noon till 2:00pm at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club. Come join us for a fun time of skiing and getting to know one another. New to cross-country skiing or want to get into it? Seasoned skiers will be there to help you with information to get started.
While the event is free to attend we will be raising funds by selling lunch (a toonie will get you a hot dog, warm drink, and cookie), club memberships and merchandise.
If there is enough interest we will also hold an informal skiing technique clinic for those who want to learn the basics of cross-country skiing. Bring your skis and join us!
